Do you get frustrated by patterns of thought, feelings, or actions that keep repeating?

Do you feel like your life gets caught in a rut?

The Enneagram is a powerful tool for helping us understand the patterns that keep us stuck. It's a psycho-spiritual model that is designed to increase our self-awareness, and it gives us a map for growing into our next best selves.

The Enneagram uses a nine-pointed figure to portray nine basic personality styles.  Each type has a perspective and style of living that contains strengths and weaknesses. As we explore the deeper dimensions of the Enneagram, we find that it offers a map for how we can be transformed personally and spiritually.  

Knowing your dominant type can be a powerful lens into why you have certain personality tendencies, and it can be a catalyst for changing limiting patterns and making new and life-giving choices.

I will be offering a 2.5-hour introduction to the Enneagram. The class will include teaching materials, large and small group conversation, and resources for ongoing learning. Because of the complexity of this psycho-spiritual model, I have participants who are new to it complete some preparatory work. If you already know your Enneagram type, I'll also be sharing materials in advance to help deepen your understanding of the model.

Teacher:

Scott McRae is a pastor, pastoral educator, spiritual director, and workshop and program leader. He currently works with Fairview Health Services as a Clinical Pastoral Educator. His professional journey has taken him from parish and campus ministries, and into healthcare where he has served both in educational roles and as a Spiritual Care Department Director. He and his wife Melanie also run Sojourners Institute through which they offer individual spiritual direction, spiritual direction training, and various workshops and programs on spiritual development. Scott been an avid student of the Enneagram since 1996, and has been teaching Enneagram classes in corporate, educational, and faith community settings for the past 17 years.
