I’m not one for New Year’s resolutions, but I do find myself in a reflective space as we flip the calendar from year to the next. What I know is that unless the change of calendars is accompanied by a much deeper kind of change, the next year will be pretty much the same psychic journey that I’ve been on the year before.
What might it mean for significant change to be a part of the new year? It means that this change must be an inside job. Sure, some changes of our outer lives are important and welcome, but the powerful life-shifts are always internal. They are changes in our hearts and our minds.
Here are couple thoughts about the New Year transition that speak to this deeper kind of change:
“Instead of finishing the year strong, why don’t we finish the year soft? Why don’t we finish the year restful and grateful for making it through yet another crazy cycle on Earth?”

“Never mind ‘new year, new you.’ What I want for this year - and every year - is to simply take one more step toward my most authentic, wholehearted self.”
- Erica Layne
If you are are drawn to exploring these shifts of heart and mind in the year to come, I’d love for you to join me through one of my groups, classes, or offerings.
I see these as chances for people to come together and support each other in being soft, restful, and grateful. They are times for supporting each other in taking small steps to becoming more authentic, wholehearted, and spiritually guided.

I look forward to your presence in any and all of these offerings, and to a new year of our transformation!
