The Radical Art of Being Still

Think of stillness as a kind of fuel. Think of it as doing for your soul what flossing does for your gums and teeth. So, I ask you what my dentist always asks me: How often are you practicing this form of hygiene?

With often think of stillness as a body thing. It's much more than that. Our hearts and minds can also come into the quality of stillness in the midst of our work and life.

When stillness infuses body, emotions, and mind, a presence (or 4th Way) emerges and with it we enter a different level of perception, a different kind of experience.

In this video, I share a reflection on the art of being still, and how I used stillness with a recent client.

Stillness is a subtle and surprising superpower that we often underuse with clients, and it's the surest way to become present to your own life in the here and now.
